The Royal Over-Seas League

The Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL) is a non-profit, private Commonwealth members organisation, founded in 1910 to foster international understanding and friendship. ROSL supports the Commonwealth through social, cultural and welfare projects including education projects in Namibia and Botswana, and the world-renowned Annual Music and Arts Competitions, offering young musicians and artists from the Commonwealth financial support and travel opportunities.

Members enjoy various benefits, such as dining, bar, garden, and drawing room facilities in the beautiful clubhouse overlooking Green Park; accommodation in both our London headquarters and Edinburgh clubhouse; and the opportunity to visit over 80 reciprocal clubs around the world. ROSL members are also invited to attend a wide variety of events including tastings, dinners, cultural outings, concerts and art exhibitions.

Our Patron is HM The Queen and our Vice-Patron is HRH Princess Alexandra, KG GCVO.
